The collection of geoheritage features included in the PNHP’s Pennsylvania Natural Diversity Inventory (PNDI) (2021) was used to initiate this project. The locations and descriptions of features for much of the initial data were sourced from the Outstanding Scenic Geological Features of Pennsylvania parts 1 and 2 (1979 and 1987). Locations and descriptions for these features were reviewed for accuracy and completeness through a literature review and with digital desktop mapping techniques. Geoheritage classification and value assessment completed with unpublished PAGS-developed classification schemas.

</idAbs>
